Although Harold Wright was the Principal Clarinetist of the Boston Orchestra and the National Symphony most of his life, his first musical love was chamber music. The Marlboro Festival provided his closest musical and personal bonds with artists like Samuel Rhodes, Gilbert Kalish, Rudolf Serkin, Alfred Genovese and Marcel Moyse. The live performances on these CDs provide unforgettable moments of magic which surpass edited technical "perfection." They describe the enchantment of Marlboro where the artists reach beyond accepted top performance levels.
